Lookup is a publicly available interactive searching program Jeffrey wrote primarily to allow him to access edict and kanjidic quickly and concisely, though it should be quite useful for searching any line-based text file (it's been used to quickly search huge C programs, English word-lists, and even e-mail archives). It features a rich and powerful flavor of regular expression search with support for Japanese text.
