When my first book, The FabYOUList, was published, my publicists recommended that I become more active on social media in order to build buzz and grow my audience. Never one to do things halfway, I quickly turned my personal Facebook page into a "Public Figure" page and signed up for Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and Google+.

Microsoft's virtual assistant Cortana is now available on the Windows 10 Technical Preview. Cortana -- who is named after the AI co-star in Microsoft's Halo series -- is the company's answer to Siri and Google Now. She takes over the operating system's search functionality, tackling local searches as well as helping you track down stuff on the Web.
