Can assumptions taken on "faith" be either right or wrong ? Or are they just simply guesses not supported by any fact. Sort of adult sandbox, playing with ideas, as diversion from "reality", perceived as boring, or "wrong".

Other than buying time for those who represent a clear and present danger to themselves , or others through the use of drugs, and possibly minimizing damage, there is little this "helping" profession seems to have "contributed" to others, or to themselves in any meaningful way.

Studies show chimps being spontaneously helpful to other chimps and humans in complex ways, without benefit of any rewards. Increasingly humans want to get "payed" for such helpfulness to other humans. And as for humans helping animals, well..............
