Kent, the county in which Margate resides, has a recently available population of about 1. 7 thousand thousand people, which ranks it 7th in total population in the country. In the English distinction of government entities it is known as a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county. Both Margate and Kent are prime types of classic English sensibilities.

You wont ever be wondering "what should i do? " when you require a visit to the sunny south-eastern county of Kent. It's full to your brim with attractions, events and things to do throughout the year and there actually is something to suit each and every taste, age and funds.

There are many beautiful sandy beaches over the coastline with three blue flag beaches to choose from also. The majority are extremely well set up to accommodate your needs, such as Viking Bay in Broadstairs which has disabled access, toilets, refreshments, deck chair hire, children's vehicles and beach hut leases. There's a few useful beach shops too selling the usual knick-knacks, souvenirs and of course the necessities- buckets, spades and windmills! Some even present water sports and browsing on lessons, meaning you really can make the most of your trip to the seaside. Most seaside towns have excellent promenades letting you take lovely walks, looking out to sea such as Westgate, without getting your toes sandy! There's also excellent restaurants, cafes and bars located through the sea and in fact right across the county, many offering fresh local fish and organic produce as standard.

This county has it all. Not only does the idea have fantastic beaches but also boasts all very reputable countryside in the UNITED KINGDOM. Staying in a countryside location allows you to benefit from nature, enjoying the several trails, walks, hikes and cycle routes available. There are many small rivers and waterways where you should look out for otters- these rare species are creating a come back throughout the country and have now recently been spotted in Kent way too. If you fancy a river tour, Canterbury river tours gives you not only to experience a ride in a sail boat, enjoy the views and learn the history of this fantastic Cathedral city. Grove Ferry is another picturesque spot with the Grove Ferry inn serving excellent food and refreshments, the option to have a river trip and a lovely picnic site allowing you the freedom to savor the river and boats moored up along the banks.

Kentish folk are lucky to have many fantastic attractions on the door step. There's Dickens World for example, designed to be appealing to all ages including the little ones, dedicated to this famous author, whose former home Bleak House is usually located in Kent, with Broadstairs. The Dickens museum with this seaside town is also very interesting and useful. The Hop farm is a must-see with so much to do and see, there's also Diggerland, Chatham Dockyard and Bewl Water to name just a few attractions which are definitely well worth a visit. If you're interested in getting oh no- nature and wishes to see some more meatier animals when compared to a birds, butterflies and insects seen on the nature trail then you're in luck.
