Who are we? We are Mathletes! Actually, we are TeenMathletes. I know you are probably wondering what a mathlete is. Well, a mathlete is someone who plays competitve math. I know that proabbly sounds funny. But we see ourselves as athletes who compete in math instead of sports. Who would think that math could be competitive - well it is very competitive and we take it very serious. Not too serious of course . :D

An Immersive Event for Principals and Teachers The Apple Summer Learning Institute 2010 gives principals and teachers hands-on opportunities to experience how technology is helping transform learning. Led by members of the Apple Professional Development team, each principal and teacher will have the opportunity to experience the latest Apple learning tools - MacBook, iPad, and iPod touch - first hand, for the duration of the event. Over the course of two days, educators will discover how Apple products can help engage today's learners, enrich core curriculum, and build student competency like never before.

Technology Proficiency License: Do you think all schools should have teachers licensed to meet teacher technology competency standards? It would require them to complete coursework and pass a test. I know 21 schools in the states already do this.
