Very cool site providing Google Earth in two side-by-side windows allowing for compare/contrast activities. 

I did this with my kids yesterday as part of our Geography and maths unit that was a real hit and had plenty of learning opportunities to offer.

Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center has created their own interactive website using Google Earth.  You can minipulate the sea surface temperature, sea surface height, chlorophyll levels, and ocean wind speeds.
