I use this software to help me determine what files are being created and modified during a small to midsize software installation. With the information gathered from fseventer I can use Iceberg to put together a customized package to use with ARD's remote install.

I love this software, although it may be tough to figure out at first. It makes perfect sense once you understand what the software is designed to do for you. I love that it gives you full control of the file ownership, permissions, and location of every file that is installed as part of the package you create. Perfect for those tricky applications that require special configuration to mesh with your systems.
