Build Your Own Blocks - or "BYOB" - is a modification of Scratch, made by the users Jens and bharvey. It includes many features that aren't available in Scratch without modification of the Source Code (see Shift-Click-R for details) - these range from building your own blocks to Mesh. The primary focus for this Scratch modification is first-class data.

È un paradosso, ma è vero che la letteratura scientifica predominante, bulimica, ridondante, assolutamente grigia, selezionata con un processo di peer review sempre più affrettato e sommario, costituisce non l'unica ma una notevole causa di scarsa innovazione dando la preferenza ai maggiori e più consolidati filoni di ricerca. Sleuthing Wikipedia editors have found several cases of apparent plagiarism over the past two years by Tim Ryan, a reporter for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
