I own a domain ( on namecheap if that matters ) and I'm looking to host both my website and an API on it. My website is a nextjs app and the API is a simple express REST. I'm looking to get my API running on api. domain. com and the website on domain. com. I don't mind having to pay for it, I've tried using the free tier of heroku but I hate the fact that it goes to sleep every hour and my site takes 5 lifetimes to load after it goes asleep.
Where should I run this ? I was thinking something like linode but I don't know. If anyone had experience with these things and would be kind enough to help me I'd appreciate a lot
Hi! These days, finding a good hosting service is no easy task at all. The difficulty lies in the fact that everyone needs hosting nowadays, which either makes it very difficult to find a reliable hosting provider, or the provider whose services you want to use has too high prices.
