There are TGI Fridays, Freaky Fridays, Picture Fridays, Example Fridays, NPR's Technology Fridays, Sensible Fridays, Friday Night Lights, and then there is my Friday and your Friday. The non-Friday. We shall work late today, and early tomorrow.
There's no end or starting to a week, a month, or even a year. They all seem to work together. 1 day morphs into another. If not for the calendar in the low right-hand corner of the monitor we could not distinguish one time, one day or one month from still another.
We're members of the 'do da' tribe. To get supplementary information, consider peeping at: blackfriday. Our primary interest in life, 'do da' check always come yet? We simply would like to get our hands on that always check. There are bills to pay, mouths to feed, and concerns to borrow from to-morrow. It's only 1-0 weeks, 76 times, until Christmas!!!
In the mean time there's Halloween candy (lots of costly Halloween decorations) and candy to get, Thanksgiving Dinner to provide, and..oh, what is the utilization?
God just gave us 24 hours per day because that's all we can handle..and to handle those few hours we must rest at least 8 of them! Yet, Friday is scarcely over before we're taken with the next day's and next week's perceived problems and cares. No one understands. Worse, no-one cares!
I mean, you have a $3,000.00 payroll to create next Friday, and you don't have $100.00. Sure, you just made payroll this morning but now you are broke and you do not understand how you are likely to allow it to be a few weeks. Everybody nevertheless you is chaotic planning their weekend and their vacations.
Your hair is prematurely gray, your face is balding earlier your dad's did, you are over-weight, you've chewed the mouth-piece off your chosen Dunhill, you've high blood-pressure and your cholesterol is all out of wack..well duh!!!!!!!
Please allow the Tennessee Mountain Man-to reveal one of the few things he is certain of..'There is a God and I am not Him and neither are you.' And, 'H-e can and will do what you and I can't, if we will let Him.' H-e cares about you. But, it's not merely about you-or me.
God isn't a door knob or even a tree as some have suggested but someone who also cares for anyone you care for.. for those you must provide insurance for, spend and provide a safe work place for. You're only His instrument for caring for the others. Please, you do your thing and let Him do His before you end up with cancer and heart-disease just like the Tennessee Mountain Man!
We get every 24-hours to a new start. Let us perhaps not blow it by killing ourselves early missing what He's for us and depriving others of the benefits He has for them.
