modeling workflow engine (MWE) supports orchestration of different Eclipse modeling components to be executed within Eclipse as well as standalone. Based on a dependency injection framework, one can simply configure and wire up 'workflows' using a declarative XML-based language. The project provides the runtime used to execute workflows as well as the IDE tooling used to edit, start and debug them.

COPE, a tool based on EMF that eases the migration of models in response to an evolving metamodel. COPE explicitly records the history of the metamodel as a sequence of changes and allows to attach information of how to migrate models (which is referred to as coupled evolution). The attached information can be used to automatically migrate models to the new version of the metamodel. COPE even goes one step further and allows to reuse combinations of metamodel adaptation and model migration steps across metamodels.

ECF is a framework for building distributed servers, applications, and tools. Akka is the platform for the next generation event-driven, scalable and fault-tolerant architectures on the JVM We believe that writing correct concurrent, fault-tolerant and scalable applications is too hard. Most of the time it's because we are using the wrong tools and the wrong level of abstraction. Akka is here to change that. Using the Actor Model together with Software Transactional Memory we raise the abstraction level and provide a better platform to build correct concurrent and scalable applications. For fault-tolerance we adopt the "Let it crash" / "Embrace failure" model which have been used with great success in the telecom industry to build applications that self-heal, systems that never stop. "The Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) is an open (creative commons) REST based service specification aimed at improving/simplifying Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system integration. A number of aspects of ALM integration are covered by OSLC ranging from Requirements Management to Automation(Build/Deploy). The OSLC Change Management (CM) spec outlines a standard for creating, modifying, and querying for change requests (tasks) from OSLC based service providers. A goal of the Mylyn project is to implement a client for OSLC-CM (see [1]). This results in a lot of text being printed to Eclipse's console view, often more than can be easily surveyed. Since at any given time, only a small part of this information is of primary interest to the developer, a tool which highlights specific lines or words can significantly increase the readability of this output. Grep Console allows you to define a series of regular expressions which will be tested against the console output. Each expression matching a line will affect the style of either the entire line or parts of it. For example, error messages could be set to show up with a red background, or integer values showing the state of a certain variable could be rendered in bold font. "

DdlUtils is a small, easy-to-use component for working with Database Definition (DDL) files. These are XML files that contain the definition of a database schema, e.g. tables and columns. These files can be fed into DdlUtils via its Ant task or programmatically in order to create the corresponding database or alter it so that it corresponds to the DDL. Likewise, DdlUtils can generate a DDL file for an existing database. DdlUtils uses the Turbine XML format, which is shared by Torque and OJB. This format expresses the database schema in a database-independent way by using JDBC datatypes instead of raw SQL datatypes which are inherently database specific. An example of such a file is:
