AtomPub interface for Guvnor - JBoss Community - 0 views

  •
"http://www.atompub.org/ defines a simple interface over HTTP to publish and subscribe to artifacts (files) and collections of artifacts (services/packages). AtomPub interface serves following purposes: 1: provide "feeds" for people/systems to monitor for changes: For example, user subscribes to a feed which lists contents of package or user subscribes to feed which lists changed contents in a package 2. provide the default remote api to push/pull content and meta data from the repository. This allows other applications to integrate with Guvnor by accessing repository content via atom pub programmatically."

HowToConfigureExtendedWADL - Jersey: RESTful Web services made easy - wikis.sun.com - 0 views

  •
"This page describes how you can get an extended WADL from your REST app. It aligns mostly with the extended-wadl-webapp sample and uses these features: Add additional doc tags to the WADL Create JAXB beans from xsd - you might also create the schema from your beans Add the grammars element that includes the xsd file from which JAXB beans were generated to the WADL Add javadoc from your resource classes to the WADL, using most of the supported javadoc tags For getting the extended WADL as described above these things have to be done: Configure the maven-jaxb-plugin to create JAXB beans from xsd - this is described here just to describe what's done in the sample. Add the application-doc.xml and application-grammars.xml to the build classpath Configure the maven-javadoc-plugin with the ResourceDoclet provided by the wadl-resourcedoc-doclet artifact to create the resource-doc.xml. Create a subclass of WadlGeneratorConfig that defines/configures the WadlGenerators to use Specify your custom WadlGeneratorConfig in the web.xml as the WadlGeneratorConfig"

Adding ICEfaces to Your Application - ICEfaces - ICEfaces.org Community Wiki - 0 views

If you're just starting to build a JSF 2 application, or you've already started building one and you'd like to add ICEfaces, it's simple to do: Add and tags JSF 2 includes head and body components that can be added to the page by using the and tags. ICEfaces 2 makes use of these components to automatically add certain scripts and other elements to the page, so the and tags are required on any pages of your application that use ICEfaces 2.

Querydsl - 0 views

  •
Querydsl is a framework which enables the construction of type-safe SQL-like queries for multiple backends including JPA, JDO and SQL in Java. Instead of writing queries as inline strings or externalizing them into XML files they are constructed via a fluent API. Code completion in IDE (all properties, methods and operations can be expanded in your favorite Java IDE) Almost no syntactically invalid queries allowed (type-safe on all levels) Domain types and properties can be referenced safely (no Strings involved!) Adopts better to refactoring changes in domain types Incremental query definition is easier Querydsl is licensed under the LGPL 2.1 license.

Getting started with Spring Data JPA | SpringSource Team Blog - 0 views

  •
As we have just released the first milestone of the Spring Data JPA project I'd like to give you a quick introduction into its features. As you probably know, the Spring framework provides support to build a JPA based data access layer. So what does Spring Data JPA add to this base support? To answer that question I'd like to start with the data access components for a sample domain implemented using plain JPA + Spring and point out areas that leave room for improvement. After we've done that I will refactor the implementations to use the Spring Data JPA features to address these problem areas. The sample project as well as a step by step guide of the refactoring steps can be found on Github.

Jettison - Home - 0 views

  •
Jettison is a collection of Java APIs (like STaX and DOM) which read and write JSON. This allows nearly transparent enablement of JSON based web services in services frameworks like CXF or XML serialization frameworks like XStream. There are currently two included conventions for mapping JSON to XML. The first, is BadgerFish which implements the full XML infoset in JSON using various techniques. The second, is called the "mapped" convention. It allows you to manually map XML namespaces to JSON element prefixes. Jettison was developed for usage in XFire and CXF to enable JSON based services. Later it also found its place in Java object serialization with XStream To learn more, see the User's Guide.

Discussion on eclipse-repository packaging type clean-up - Tycho - Confluence - 0 views

  •
The packaging type eclipse-repository was originally introduced for building products that can be updated with p2 (cf. TYCHO-188). This requires the following build results: a p2 repository which contains the product IU, and a zip file with the installed product. (Although this is technically no longer needed since the Update Manager was replaced by p2, zip files are still the primary way to distribute Eclipse/RCP installations.) For ease of implementation, this was done in the same packaging type eclipse-repository. In the meantime, eclipse-repository has gained in capabilities (in particular through TYCHO-491), making it difficult for users to choose the right packaging types. This page lays out the mid-term plan of how we want to build products, update site categories, and p2 repositories in Tycho. It also contains a few details how the transition todays (0.11.0) packaging types (eclipse-repository, eclipse-application, eclipse-update-site) to the new types eclipse-repository and eclipse-product.

Apache Felix - Apache Felix iPOJO - 0 views

  •
iPOJO is a service component runtime aiming to simplify OSGi application development. It natively supports ALL the dynamism of OSGi. Based on the concept of POJO, application logic is developed easily. Non-functional properties are just injected in the component at runtime. iPOJO strength points are : components are developed as POJO, nothing else is required ! the component model is extensible, so feel free to adapt it to your needs the standard component model manages service providing and service dependencies, and so can require any other OSGi services iPOJO manages the component instance lifecycle and the environment dynamics as it has never been possible iPOJO provides a powerful composition system to create highly dynamic applications iPOJO supports annotations, XML or Java-based API to define the component

"Finagle is a library for building asynchronous RPC servers and clients in Java, Scala, or any JVM language. Overview Built atop Netty, Finagle provides a rich set of tools that are protocol independent. Finagle is flexible enough to support a variety of RPC styles, including request-response, streaming, and pipelining (e.g., HTTP pipelining and Redis pipelining). It also makes it easy to work with stateful RPC styles (e.g., those requiring authentication and those that support transactions)."

EasyMock - Mock Objects for interfaces & objects by generating them on the fly using Ja... - 10 views

  •
"EasyMock provides Mock Objects for interfaces (and objects through the class extension) by generating them on the fly using Java's proxy mechanism. Due to EasyMock's unique style of recording expectations, most refactorings will not affect the Mock Objects. So EasyMock is a perfect fit for Test-Driven Development. EasyMock is open source software available under the terms of the Apache 2.0 license. Development, downloads and issue tracking are hosted on SourceForge. "
