Radio WillowWeb is a podcast for kids and by kids from the students at
Willowdale Elemetary School in Omaha, Nebraska. It is an excellent
example of how this technology can be used to enhance teaching and
learning.
This is the one place where students could interact. The responses, however, were on another page. Perhaps for that, and other reasons, the students did not respond much.
This is an example of a static web
page. I provides a lot of information, and what we are studying, links
to activities, but it lacks interactivity. The conversation is largely
one-way, to the students. The page can be updated, but not as quickly
as adding posts on a blog.
We are a class of year 2 & 3 students from Mapua School in New Zealand. We love to learn and we are very good at reading, writing and maths! We hope you like reading about what we have been up to!
