This is an excellent search engine site to search all things United States government. A person can search all the government websites, forms and images. Especially relevent to our course is the ability to search for images that do not have copyright restrictions for education.

Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids - 0 views

  •
This website explains to K-12 all aspects of the United States government. The explanations really relate to the grade level chosen. The illustrations that are used are helpful for a child trying to understand the concept of laws and other aspects of the U.S. government. Over I thought this was a great resource for children of all ages to use.

This website is more of a Web Quest for Elementary to Middle school aged kids. It lets children explore what happened at the first thanksgiving. They are able to learn about both sides of the story and learn more about the Native American's and Pilgrims backgrounds. This site was helpful in this specific topic.

Rubistar - Create Rubrics for your Project-Based Learning Activities - 0 views

  •
Rubistar is a great resource for creating rubrics. There are a variety of categories that include pre-made rubric items that the user can mix and match or augment to fit their needs, or the user can simply create their own rubric from scratch. These rubrics can be saved on the site for use later, saved on the user's computer in Excel or html format, and/or be printed directly.
