After watching the "20 Rules Italians Don' Break" video last week, I learned about some aspects of Italians food and culture that Americans have Americanized such as meat balls in spaghetti, fruits and vegetables as pizza toppings, butter and olive olive for bread, etc.(Apparently Italians dont' do this) This got me thinking of how we have Americanized other culture's food in America.
This article basically talks about how Chinese food has evolved in America and the difference between authentic Chinese food and that of American. For example, the fortune cookie with your meal is an American alteration, according to this article.
