Canva is a fantastic, user-friendly tool to create professional looking graphics and infographics. After reading this post by Cool Cat Teacher I gave the program a try and really enjoyed it. The tool has stock images available for $1 or you may upload your own for free. Students could use it to make infographics on research topics, business cards, or posters for their businesses.

This site allows teachers to join an open webcasting community to collaborate on different classroom topics.  You could get knew ideas for things or get help with an issue you've been having with something.

TeacherTube is similar to YouTube, except the videos on here are meant to be shared with students, where on YouTube that isn't always the case.  There are videos, photos, and even groups to join.

Instagram allows people to stay in touch through pictures.  Taking pictures of different classroom ideas and posting them is a great way to share your ideas, plus get ideas from others.

Instagram is a way to post pictures and videos with anyone on the web, or only those that follow you.  

amm1388 I like the idea of taking pictures of classroom ideas. I see this as a great science and math tool also.

Facebook can be used to stay connected to friends, but it can also be used as a way to collaborate with others.  In our class we have created a group where we can talk about different things happening in class and we are the only ones that can see it.

Skype is a tool that allows people to talk in a way that is similar to face to face.  This tool could be used in the classroom to become connected with other classrooms around the world.  Students would have the opportunity to learn about other cultures firsthand.  

This site has things to help students in many different areas.  From making conversions in measurements, online almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and more.  This would be a reference students could use in different content areas.

Edudemic is a site that connects education and technology.  It has great articles about people and technology.  For example, "Reasons Why Teachers Should NOT Share Their Phone Numbers with Students" and Ten Ways to use Mobile Devices in the Classroom.

One of the most well organized and updated blogs that focuses completely on technology integration. There are MANY editors so the content has a very large scope including reviews of new digital resources and recent research.

This site acts as a white board.  You can draw or type on it and then save the document you created or send it to someone else.

Students are able to create stories or reports using Nanoogo.  They can put in a picture of a famous person from our past, such as Martin Luther King, and then create a project about him using Nanoogo.

This is an amazing resource for a science teacher like myself! I get the dreaded "why do I have to know this?" question far to often. This seems like a great way of naturally answering that. I am definitely an encourage of questioning so have a bank of resources for how to answer "why must we learn this?" is a huge help!
