The NEA Foundation in partnership with the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) wants to know how mobile phone technology can be used to transform teaching and learning. The Foundation will award up to five individuals $1,000 for the best ideas posted on the C2i page on the U.S. Department of Education's Open Innovation Portal.
We at Apps in Education believe that the iPad has caused a major shift in education and in the publishing industry. From textbook publishers, to education software companies, everyone is taking notice of this benchmark in education technology. As an educator, I've seen this shift first hand as I visit classroom, and as I track the adoption of the mobile technology in education.
