With the promotion last year, Qassim Sulaimani holds the highest rank in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. He is the brain behind several policies, among them the Iranian influence towards Iraq and providing military security to President Bashar al-Assad of Syria. Qassim Sulaimani's role has created a series of conflicts with the U.S. Qassim Sulaimani tried to kill the Saudi ambassador to the United States, and he is now on a list of considerable threats.
