Abdel Basat Turki the governor of central bank of Iraq said that it will not be possible for central bank of Iraq to delete the zeroes from currency of Iraq unless the economic development of Iraq. He said that country is not in a position to take this decision without a stable economy. He denied the statement of Maliki for revaluation before election 2014.

The government of Iraq has been trying to delete the zeroes from the Iraqi currency for a better global price of the Iraqi dinar. They have been trying since long but they have not been able to manage things in a better way. There have been several propositions and it is a good thing that the decision of the deletion of zeroes has not yet been taken. Iraq need to stable itself in a better way before the price of the dinar is settled.

This is first time in the economic recent history of central bank of Iraq that it made clear public statement for the revaluation of Iraqi dinar. The governor of central bank of Iraq made an official public statement about revaluation of Iraqi dinar. According to Turki, they are looking for the settlement of the new government.

Removal of the three zeroes still depends on the strategic projects, security situations in the country, and implentations of the logistical and technical measures by the central bank, which were supposed to implemented in early 2014, but these are not yet implemented.

The printing of new Iraqi dinars with the value of 250, 500 and 1000 Iraqi dinar notes has created misconceptions in the mind of common people and has raised many questions. The most common question is that if central bank of Iraq wanted to delete the zeroes from currency of Iraq so why it printed these new notes and circulated in the country.

Iraqi Dinar 123 News :- It was revealed by the economists of Iraq that the revaluation of the currency or deleting zeroes from the dinar is not a good idea at this stage in time. The country is facing several issues including economic, security, monetary and several other issues.

The CBI is to be commended for the stability in the exchange rate of the Dinar to the Dollar, but was for the policy short term. It is time to take the necessary steps to implement the project for deletion of three zeros for dinar revaluation, without any delay.
