After taking economy bank of Iraq under the trusteeship, the central bank of Iraq warned its citizens to deal with Basra International Bank. Due to failure of many financial obligations, the central bank of Iraq decided to take Basra International Bank under the trusteeship. Therefore all the financial operations are suspended until the things gets normal.

The exhibition held in Basra was a great success. All those people who never knew that Iraq is speeding towards a better system of management are now very much interested in business in Iraq. The Basra exhibition was a great success which helped in bringing foreign business-men in the oil region. Several countries took part in the fair which was a huge success.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank has been given clearance to open a branch in Basra, Iraq. This is a great step as it would help in facilitating trade and make other financial transactions. This would help in expanding business and maintaining good relations between the two countries. Much needed for Iraq, it would be quite helpful in future.

It was reported that Iraq plans to export 2.4 million barrels per day of crude oil to Basra in September which has previously been 2.2 million barrels per day. This idea would help in increasing the crude exports. Although there has been a constant fight going on in the northern part of the country regarding the world oil prices.

The production of crude oil from Basra region would help in the management of economic issues of the country. Badra is the biggest province of the country and it has the biggest responsibility to create better economic opportunities and support the country for its several reasons.

The reliance of the different banks form other countries is welcome in the province of Basra for a better management. With the international projects being set up things would work out in a much better way on the economic scale.

The head of Total's refining and chemicals division, Patrick Pouyanne, said he signed a preliminary accord with Iraq's industry ministry in November 2013 to examine the feasibility of the complex in the southern Iraqi port of Basra.

Iraqi Dinar 123 News :- The oil ministry is trying to raise the oil productions to four million barrels by 2015. Oil is the basic export of Iraq and it needs to increase for a better economic system of the country. The oil port of Basra is a major source of export.

Iraqi Dinar 123 News:- Iraq signed four contracts with UAE company "SK any Energy Hanks". Billions of Iraqi dinars will be spent on these contracts. The operational area of company will be the free zone of Zubair in Basra Province. The operational area is 20,000 square meters in the first phase and 1600 square meter in the second phase.

According to the member of the ministry of oil, Assem Jihad; the southern ports exported 75.7 million barrels during July through the ports off Basra while the exported barrels of oil from Baardat were 7.8 million barrels. The average sale price per barrel was 102.80 dollars per barrel. It was seen that the oil exports were quite low from the Kirkuk area, this proved to be a great boost to the economy of the country.
