    Except that the laser is projected onto the window, and not onto the prospective itself, the laser reticle is actually performing the same function as a laser sight. This offers a few advantages, among which will be that the laser beam isn't obvious to everyone but the shooter. Yet another advantage is that a lot of holographic sights allow the user to vary the level of the laser reticle, while the facts from laser sights might be difficult to see on-the goal in bright sunlight.
