"AppAdice.com is one of those places that I go to for quick and easy lists of apps that complete specific tasks. These guys put a lot of time and effort into making these lists and often categorise apps within the lists. They always start with an Overview of what the apps do and then list them in categories; Essential, Notable, Decent and then others. "

The following apps were all recommended at different times by Burlington science teachers who had become familiar with the apps through their own use in the classroom.

"Over on Kickstarter is the Jaja iPad Pressure Sensitive Stylus. The project name is 'Worlds First' which we can't say for certain if they beat Adonit in the design release. While Adonit is showing theirs at shows, Jaja is stating they should have a finished product shipping in April. Jaja has hit their requested money so the project will get funded and the stylus should get built. We want these pens so we hope everyone ships on time!"

They are worried than the students will just work in isolation and our society will become even more fractured and self-centered with students never learning to work together. "

"I was doing a quick (I thought) WiFi sync on my iPad 2 this morning, just to get a new iBook I'd downloaded on the Mac onto it. The sync went quite slowly and during it I caught a glimpse of the Capacity status bar in iTunes - and noticed that free space on the iPad 2 was down to around 7GB free. That's a terribly low amount, given that it's a 64GB model."
