Many US schools, including the one where I work, use iPads with students in the same way as this Swiss school. They're not doing anything different. The author should try visiting some American schools.

Thanks for these great resources. I particularly liked play and sing, with its great British accent. I'm keen to find apps with UK spelling and accents for primary school. Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

"The buddy program is a huge part of our community because the kids get to work with others," she said. "Older kids work with younger kids… and they get to be teachers. They retain so much more if they get to teach what they've learned."
