This article describes the competition called Pitch Fest. It is a competition where companies pitch their different education inspired programs and are judged until there is a winner.

I found this article perfect because it relates to what we are presently doing in class. Basically, it is describing how popular iPads are becoming in classrooms and how younger students are using them as well. It gives a list of the to six apps for creative writing. This is useful information because some student have a hard time writing down ideas on paper, or even writing at all. These apps could help students think of ideas, strategies, and give them useful tips for writing. This article shows technology integration in classrooms through the use of iPads.

I found a great article about using iPad Apps to enhance creative writing for students. Some students struggle with writing. Often, they have difficulty formulating their ideas and putting the pen to paper. For these students, writing is daunting task. However, this article highlights 6 useful Apps that can help to promote and inspire students to create their own narratives. These Apps may be a fun way to enhance student learning and many of the Apps are free in the App store.

The article I found was very interesting. HARMAN, a leading technological company and Little Kids Rock, a national music nonprofit teamed together in a partnership to strengthen music education across the country. I found this article to be extremely helpful and sort of fun! Its a summer reading list for teachers to help us learn and understand technology and how we can integrate it into our classrooms. Who said teachers could not have summer reading lists as well?

I enjoyed this article because it brought the topic of computer science within the school classroom to light. Computer science is a field sky rocketing in terms of opportunities. There are always jobs available for these types of professions and the industry keeps growing because of the high demand for technological advancement. The idea of training our students so that they are somewhat comfortable with the common computer applications also exposes them to a new world because many students specifically women have little to no interest in such an important and growing field because they've never experience it.

This article is great for any new teachers or for any teachers that want to advance their technological teaching skills. It explains in a step-by-step way that is easy to understand from integration to evaluating the new methods. The article also goes into describe Digital Learning Day, a day that inspires educators to utilize technology in teaching to give students "access to high-quality digital learning opportunities, no matter where they live".

Replace rows of desks and lectures at your school with active learning spaces where students are collaborative, classrooms are comfortable and teachers inspire creativity and deep content knowledge. Also, take the lesson outside. Technology is portable so take advantage of it. Incorporate technology into the lesson and then bring it outside for a different environment of learning that students will be really excited about!

This article is helpful to our class because it establishes how important technology integration into our classroom is, and that in order to do so we teachers must be trained professionally. This improves our quality as educators.
