carathomas09 on 13 Sep 14Depicted in the documentary "If You Build It', it shows 10 high school teens in Bertie County helping their local community make a difference and building a farmers market. Instead of sitting in desks and learning in a classroom all day, they took to the land and began to build. They incorporated hands-on shop lessons and used technology to map out the design of the farmers market. They were instructed to think outside of the box which made their experience all the more valuable.
