Study Jams is a great site to visit for find fun, informative videos for your kids. I often have the student watch a "study jam" as one of their stations. It is a quick way to reinforce skills were are learning.

wow, this is a great resource! I like how you had the idea of having this as one of your stations. This seems like it may be rather motivating for students.

Great site for outside the box learning experience for students

I like this idea. I think that there are some great things I could do with this site, when I get some extra time!!! This is a great site and could really go outside the box of our classroom.

I have been collecting good app sites. We just got 10 ipads for the grade level and I am still exploring what to do with them. We are getting more and more tools to use and I need to find things that really are helpful for my kids.

As an Elementary Ed major I am grateful for this list of Web 2.0 applications that has the elementary classroom in mind. The tools are fitting for both teachers and students-teachers can modernize their teaching by integrating and including technology in every day lessons and communication, and students use the tools to complete assignments. ViewPure is a web based service that allows uses to watch YouTube videos in a clean, clutter-free way. Paste a Youtube video URL in the box and click on "purify" to get the cleaner copy. You can also create your own custom URLs and password protect a Youtube video using this tool.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was looking for this site the other day and couldn't remember what it was called and then I found it here. I wanted to put some links for my third graders and this is what I needed!

This website is a great resource for whiteboard activities for Language Arts. I would use this in my classroom if I had a Promethean board or any other type of interactive whiteboard in order to engage my students in a new way.

Awesome compilation of K-6 blogs for teachers!  There are many links to blogs, printables, ideas, and news!  The name says it all!

This is a great presentation on how iPods can be used in the classroom.  They are often forgotten nowadays, but they can still be a very effective tool in the classroom.  iPods, as well as technology, is always motivating for students.  

I just checkout 15 ipods from our library, no one was using them and I really think they could be beneficial to the students. I really like this slideshow and it sparked some new ideas for me.

"Blogs every teacher should read" is probably the best thing I have ever Googled. I found the website onlineschools.org and a page called "100 Blogs Every New Teacher Should Read." I can really see this being useful now and in the future!

I am always looking for new blogs. I am trying to really pick blogs that really interest me and help me do my job! I will definitely check out this site.

Easy way to make your QR reader app on your ipad a tool for learning!

I use this site when I am exploring books. Sometimes when I am planning a guided reading group, read aloud or just need an anchor text, I wil visit this site. It has some great resources.

This is a nice resource. I am working hard to incorporate the common core into my classroom, and there is a lot of useful info here, including benchmark assessments, charts, and lesson ideas. There is also a good link to social studies online free resources.

We are not 1:1, but we could definitely use this in the lab, when we are writing sentences! Such a third grade skill

I loved the pumpkin themes in the first post! This is a great resource for teachers and I liked how it expanded on different subjects rather than focusing just on literacy, like most blogs. This is a great resource for teachers rather than the students.

Another great website compilation of Web2.0 tools for schools. Great for K-12 and could be utilized in higher education also. Great setup and organization by type of tool. Very easy to use and great Web 2.0 sites. Includes brief description of each site.

This is a cool Wiki that has a lot of great resources for Web 2.0 ideas that can be used in the classroom or for personal use.

This is a great list of tools for collaboration. As we begin to plan for our classroom using some new tools and bringing technology into the Iowa Core, this site will come in handy. A great place to look for tools when you are doing your planning.

This is a wiki resource of Web 2.0 Tools for teacher and student use in the classroom. Tools are listed by category along with a brief description and feature of what the tool can do or be used for.

There is so much here both in terms of online resources, as well as printables (such as graphic organizers). This site is organized well, and easy to find tools to use in all subject areas.

I am not entirely sure it is University of San Francisco. But this site has lots of information about integrating the ipad into the classroom. As I am planning staff development, I would use this resource

This is a great blog. It is set up so cute and such great ideas. I would definitely use this in my future classroom for planning literacy lessons. Overall, the website is for teachers, but I think parent's could go on it in order to get ideas for building literacy at home.
