Teacher to Teacher blogs from Scholastic.

This blog lists top documentary films for teachers or students to watch. Teachers can use these documentaries as a means of providing more information to students. The documentaries may not be suitable for all ages.

This site could have great potential, especially for high school science and social studies classes, based on the topics of the movies listed. It is great that you can watch the documentaries immediately and for free. Students might find this a useful resource for another type of research materials for projects. In my subject areas, I wouldn't use most of these, because we usually need to watch things in the target language, but some of the cultural topics might be relevant, such as some French speaking African countries, art, etc. I haven't ever thought to look for free documentaries online, I suppose there are more sites to check out!

Wow, what a great site. This is something that I think can really come in handy. There are often times when I or my fellow teachers are looking for something to help expand understanding or make connections with something they are learning. There is a large variety of categories to pick from and not just science and social studies. I think this definitely is a site for teachers, but I could see students using this site too for school projects. I'm going to be passing this one onto my fellow teachers. I am very impressed with this website -- It covers a variety of subjects (from history to health and computer science to geology) and offers links to reliable websites with accurate information!

Engrade is free and easy to use. It unifies all of the people, tools, data, and curriculum in your schools on one user-friendly platform.

This wiki is for teachers to gain lesson plans, unit plans, videos, and standards. Teachers can search for the concept they're looking for and access lessons created by teachers.

Great math apps for the iPad for early childhood.

ViewPure is a web based service that allows uses to watch YouTube videos in a clean, clutter-free way. Paste a Youtube video URL in the box and click on "purify" to get the cleaner copy. You can also create your own custom URLs and password protect a Youtube video using this tool.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was looking for this site the other day and couldn't remember what it was called and then I found it here. I wanted to put some links for my third graders and this is what I needed!

Great educational BLogs for Teachers

Yes this is could be an efficient resource in the future. Its hard to sort through all the blogs for teachers out there and decide what they are all about. I hate searching for information, this will give me a great place to start when looking for a specific topic that may have useful information. This site is for teachers. It provides them with teacher blogs with information specific to teachers and classroom topics. Two websites that I also found that provides similar information would be: Edutopia and Teacher Seeds blogs.

This wiki is the next Wikipedia. Created by the co-founder of Wikipedia, Citizendium's goal is to provide encyclopedia entries with high standards of writing, reliability, and comprehensiveness.

Great site for outside the box learning experience for students

I like this idea. I think that there are some great things I could do with this site, when I get some extra time!!! This is a great site and could really go outside the box of our classroom.

This blog gives a lot of great ideas for ways to integrate technology into the classroom. It has some great resources that I haven't seen on other sites.

At first I thought this cite was a little difficult to understand but once I played around I found lots of interesting ideas and resources I too had never seen before.

Educational Resource for teachers and students alike

Wow, what a cool resource. I definitely think that I could use this in my middle school social studies classes. The articles are very accessible in terms of the reading level. Thanks for the great resource, and I'll definitely be sure to link my students to this website.
