I have been associated with Raptivity for a long time now. Working as a User Experience Expert, my job demands to conceptualize means and ways that enhance a user's experience with Raptivity. With this objective in mind, I have been the hub of many significant developments and changes in Raptivity. One such significant development has just been successfully concluded by the Raptivity team. We have completely redesigning Raptivity's User Interface.

It's now six months since Harbinger Knowledge Products - makers of Raptivity®, the award-winning, rapid e-learning development software tool that comes with a library of pre-built customisable interactions, most of which are interactive - launched 'Raptivity Evolve' for its Raptivity premium customers. In that time, it's produced five new interaction modules collaborating with Raptivity users, in response to these users' suggestions.

As a RVP, I got the opportunity to talk to some of the customers and help them in the Expert Hour sessions. Some of the customers were totally new to eLearning and Raptivity whereas some were themselves Raptivity Experts. Before the call, customers had shared their thoughts and issues with us through a pre-call survey. Many customers wanted to know how Raptivity interactivities could be used differently whereas few had queries on which interactions could be used for their specific content and so on. These points were taken up during the one hour sessions with them. To name some of them, once I showed how a very simple interaction model 'Flash Card' can be used differently to show a profit chart. I also took some customers through the Tin Can tracking mechanism of Raptivity. Various new features like media tool box, HTML5 publishing, global settings, etc were also show cased during the calls.

With the annual licensing model, Raptivity allows you to deliver high quality interactive learning experience to your learners while also staying within your budget. Raptivity annual license, as the name suggests, is a license that is valid for one year, with the option to renew at the end of the year. The Raptivity license still continues to be a desktop license. This pricing option is an attractive option for those eLearning developers who wish to purchase Raptivity, but would rather pay annually from their recurring budget than purchasing the perpetual license by paying full cost upfront.

Raptivity comes up with weekly workshop which you can attend. Many customers find Raptivity weekly workshop helpful. This webinar will help you to understand how Raptivity can be used in the most powerful way. The workshop will consist of detailed introduction, tips and tricks of how Raptivity works as a rapid development tool to create interactive elearning courses.

Raptivity to Unveil a New User Interface at DevLearn 2013 Conference and Expo. DevLearn is a comprehensive showcase of leading tools technologies content ideas strategies and best practices in eLearning. Visitors to the Raptivity booth at DevLearn will get the first look at Raptivity's new and improved user interface. The representatives will also demonstrate the latest version of Raptivity (7.6) that supports AS 3.0 which has enabled better performance and also makes the integration of Raptivity with third party authoring tools much easier.

Well, I'm sure you are all curious to know what I have for you today? In this post we will unveil an interesting fact about adding images to Raptivity interactions. Few days back I was just chatting with Raptivity's Support Manager - Prashanjit and interestingly he told me about few users having some hitches while inserting images into Raptivity interactions. I too have received mails from few of our customers with queries on inserting images in Raptivity interactions.

At times, you need to apply some common settings for font, design and background across various interactions. It could be to comply with your brand identity guidelines or for running a campaign. Whatever the purpose be, you can easily do it using the 'Global Settings' option in Raptivity. The blog consist of summary about the webinar concluded on October 3, 2013 on Creating Interactive Courses using Raptivity and Captivate with Joe Ganci as the guest speaker. Joe demonstrated the whole course creation process using both the tools. He showed customization process in Captivate and then demonstrated the customization and integration of a Raptivity interaction with Captivate.

The Raptivity team recently presented at a technology event for educators at University of Pune, Maharashtra, India. The presentation was titled 'Innovative Ideas for Making Learning Interactive'. It aimed at showcasing different creative ideas and ways of making learning fun and interactive. Over 65 senior educators from across Maharashtra region attended the session.

The Virtual Educa conference was a 5 day affair and estimates say that it was attended by 10000+ attendees. The attendees really liked the concept of Raptivity. The fact that one does not need programming for creating interactivities was the most common aspect they expressed they liked. Possibilities of HTML5, and SCORM publishing, as well as the possibilities of using any LMS, were the common ones for people of a higher level of technology knowledge/expertise. Visitors also liked the idea of perpetual pricing. Many people liked that Raptivity works with Moodle and PowerPoint.
