It is, of course, not new to have a highly qualified scientist saying that global warming is an entirely natural phenomenon with many precedents in history. Many have made the argument, too, that it is rubbish to contend human behaviour is causing the current climate change.

I can not help but be reminded of the 1973 science fiction movie, Soylent Green (MGM Production-based upon the novel, Make Room! Make Room! By Harry Harrison), in which a society running out of resources resorts to mercy killing of the elderly and ultimately uses them for a food source. In that society, participants were convinced there was a high value in undergoing a short lived wondrous death experience and a low value in living a life as an elderly disabled or in-firmed nonproductive citizen.

When the Obama-Joker posters began to appear in Los Angeles, it gave me a little chuckle. I mean, think about it. Nonetheless, the appearance of these posters may be indicative of the growing discontent by the public with the Obama Administration. In fact, it seems there is a growing trend of people willing to lash out at Obama and his idiotic policies at townhall meetings too.

U.S. lawmakers have a big battle ahead in September. What should they do about the nation's healthcare system? Those pushing for change say too many Americans are uninsured or not covered for all their illnesses. And they say for those who are happy with their coverage the cost will get out of control in a matter of years.
