There's been an mass/chain email going around about my tweets on the Health Care Bill. The problem with this email is that it misquotes what I actually said. It also makes things up that were never in my tweets as well. You can view my actual tweets in my post - The HC Monstrosity - All 1,018 pages. The email has gotten so bad in fact, that I have word it's now going directly to people's spam folders.

Coming soon to America, preferential treatment for gays, and a loss of jobs for Christians daring to disagree with the gay lifestyle. Why not? It's happening in Canada and Britain. In fact, in the United Kingdom a Christian doctor got kicked off an adoption panel because she wished to abstain from voting on cases regarding adoption by gay couples.

Newly declassified documents reveal that an active member of Students for a Democratic Society and Port Militarization Resistance in Washington state was actually an informant for the US military. The man everyone knew as "John Jacob" was in fact John Towery, a member of the Force Protection Service at Fort Lewis. The military's role in the spying raises questions about possibly illegal activity. The Posse Comitatus law bars the use of the armed forces for law enforcement inside the United States. The Fort Lewis military base denied our request for an interview. But in a statement to Democracy Now!, the base's Public Affairs office publicly acknowledged for the first time that Towery is a military operative. "This could be one of the key revelations of this era," said Eileen Clancy, who has closely tracked government spying on activist organizations. [includes rush transcript]

People choose to see things as would best suit their beliefs or needs. Rarely do we recognize there is a much bigger picture, or that the information we are receiving is not as we believe it to be. Sometimes it seems like someone is doing something for one reason, when there is something going on that we don't even fathom to be a possibility. The facts, even when presented, sometimes are not even believable.

When the Obama-Joker posters began to appear in Los Angeles, it gave me a little chuckle. I mean, think about it. The Joker in The Dark Knight was more of an anarchist, than a big government, totalitarian fascist like Barack Obama. Nonetheless, the appearance of these posters may be indicative of the growing discontent by the public with the Obama Administration. In fact, it seems there is a growing trend of people willing to lash out at Obama and his idiotic policies at townhall meetings too.
