Pandemic fears creating customers far and wide for Toronto company's sombre product line

An outpouring of skeptical scientists who are members of the American Chemical Society (ACS) are revolting against the group's editor-in-chief - with some demanding he be removed - after an editorial appeared claiming "the science of anthropogenic climate change is becoming increasingly well established."

However, Think Progress' most egregious smear appears in the last paragraph of the article. "Despite his outlandish views, Jones' influence can not be underestimated. Richard Poplawski, the young man who gunned down three Pittsburgh police officers earlier this year after professing a fear that the government would confiscate his guns, was a die-hard fan of Jones. Jones, who rants daily about Obama's intentions to revoke the 2nd amendment, is also one of the loudest voices for the "birther movement."

"Up until now they have been able to use fear as their best tactic, and whether it's on foreign policy issues or domestic policy issues, that's how that first TARP fund went through… If things get worse, they'll say this is more reason than ever for the government to take over and of course we still have the threat of martial law coming in because they havn't forgotten about that and I don't think they'd hesitate to use it.
