The largest SUV manufacturer of India, Mahindra and Mahindra has developed interest in acquiring at least a part of Saab Automobile, the auto maker from Sweden, which has recently gone bankrupt. This has been disclosed by two people, who are very familiar with this situation.
By the look of things, Ferrari, the sports car maker from Italy, is going to offer its entire range of cars in India at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Sports cars have been recently generating renewed interest in India following the Formula I event that had been recently organized at the Buddh International Circuit at Greater Noida.
Dozens of cars are being launched everyday, from hatches to premium sedans to sport coupes. However, Ferrari does not seem to be interested in this battle for total control on every segment. Though it has just four production model lines, the Italian master of performance machinery boasts its excellence one in a blue moon.
