"The Maruti-Suzuki Baleno is the Japanese manufacturers answer to the premium hatchback segment that is growing rapidly in India. With the likes of the Hyundai Elite i20, the Fiat Punto 90HP, the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI/TDI and the Honda Jazz as competition, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is sure to do well in India considering the fact that it will be both bigger than the Swift and crammed with more gizmos than the Swift. Expect pricing to be around the Rs 8-10 lakh mark.
