You might have heard me mention Google Forms at a Technology Shoot Out but did you know Google Docs does templates, too? Check out this link with some pretty sweet pre-made Google Forms you can use to gather information in a meaningful way.

Students create their own clay avatar. They can name themselves, create a script - great for a formative assessment to see if they know the parts of speech. Lots of uses here.

This is the new way to facilitate and help teachers create common assessments.  Everyone has access at all times, and the products can be altered from home or the classroom.. actually anywhere.  :)
