Today Indian sTock market shows To have a strong trend. At 11 am, the Sensex rose 40 points To 25,863 and Nifty gained 9 points at 7724 levels. Midcap and Smallcap sTocks have 0.75 To 1 percent growth. Healthcare, realty, oil & gas, consumer durables sTocks rose 1 To 0.6 per cent. FMCG, Power, tech sTocks are strong by 0.4 To 0.2 per cent. Bank, IT, auTo sTocks are sluggish. Capital goods and metal sTocks fell 0.4 per cent.

Crude oil rose by 1.3 percent and is trading around Rs 4,000. Natural gas rose 1.5 per cent to Rs 170. Gold is trading around Rs 27800 with a fell of 0.25 percent. Silver fell 0.2 percent and trading close to Rs 37935. Aluminium rose 0.25 percent to Rs 155. Copper is trading close to Rs 350 with a gain of 1.25 per cent. Nickel gain 0.25 per cent and trading at Rs 950. Lead surge 0.50 per cent to Rs 115. Zinc has a strenght of 0.5 percent.

Shares of Claris Lifesciences climbed 8 percent intraday on settlement of litigations & licence agreement for anesthetic with US company. "Claris has reached a settlement and license agreement, ending all pending litigation with Fresenius Kabi USA Inc, with reference to the alleged infringement of a patent relating to Propofol for injection, 10 mg/ml," said the company in its filing to the exchange. Propofol for injection is a generic version of Diprivan, which is indicated for general anaesthesia for surgery or other medical procedures. Under the terms of settlement and license agreement, Claris and Claris Lifesciences Inc USA has been granted approval to sell its generic version of Propofol for injection beginning October 15, 2016, prior to June 1, 2025 expiry of the patent that formed the basis of litigation.
