F&O NEWS India Indices- As we saw today Nifty opened in down trend and in the whole day we saw up and down movement in nifty indices and more bearishness in nifty indices. At the end of the day Nifty future contract expiring on 26Dec2013 loosed -0.35% to close at 6176.25 with a premium 21.55 pts and percent I change in open interest is 4.82%.

The key domestic benchmarks trimmed some of their earlier gains but were still trading higher today tracking a strong rally in Asian stock markets which rose as speculation of a Spanish bailout and upbeat US data lifted sentiment, spurring demand for risky assets. The BSE Sensex, last week closed below 19500 points, indicating a low grinding trend. The Nifty, on the other hand, is drifting away from the 6000 mark. Midcap and smallcap stocks have selling pressure. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices fell by around 1 per cent. All major indices of the BSE are in the red. Indicators have suggested the world's largest economy is picking up, but investors are looking for firm evidence.

Copper prices fell by 0.91 per cent on Monday after the Federal Reserve said that US industrial production fell unexpectedly to -1.2 per cent, from 0.5 per cent in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 0.6 per cent as production slowed in factories indicating a downturn in the growth engine and in turn reducing the demand outlook for the metal.

Indian indices gained mighty strength on Tuesday as it ended trading session at the highest point of the day. Indian indices tanked on Tuesday after Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) officially withdrew its support from the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) over the Sri Lankan Tamil issue. DMK's pullout overshadowed the Reserve Bank's move to cut the benchmark repo rate by 25 basis points. Sensex crashed 285.10 points to end the day at 19008.10 and the Nifty fell 89.30 points to finish at 5745. This was the largest single day fall in the Sensex since February 28.
