Stock exchanges saw their overall cash market turnover tumbling by over 25 per cent to Rs 34.84 lakh crore in the last fiscal, reflecting broader fall in equity prices. National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE -- alone accounted for 99.8 per cent of the cash turnover of all recognised bourses in the last fiscal, according to data compiled by market regulator Sebi.
