1000 images on the tip of my tongue is an interactive site focusing on idiomatic expressions that have the same meaning in French, English and Spanish, but cannot be translated word for word. This trilingual directory provides more than 1000 idiomatic phrases classified according to themes. Each of them is inserted into a short text which illustrates its meaning and contains a digital audio file. Listening to the file allows to fully understand all the various shades in the pronunciation. Mr Picassohead is a fun website. It allows users to create their own 'Picasso' by selecting different types of faces and facial features, colours and so on and dragging them onto a canvas. It is a great way to begin a unit of work on Picasso, Cubism or abstract art with students.
