That's a tough situation to be in. Intrestingly I stumbled upon this article earlier today, except it was from a evangelical prolife point of view. It's facinating/frusterating to see what the other side thinks.

An article relevant to our Syria discussion on Friday. The questions I have after reading this are, with regard to Syria, what outcome do we want to achieve, and will military intervention achieve that end?

A good example of an ERJ project.

For those of you that read "Young Men and Fire" last year. This article is about the Missoula fire science lab that was referenced in the book.

While we are trying so hard to have Chinese test scores and mimic hard core education, highly standardized test curriculum--they are trying to mimic ours.

I found this article quite helpful in helping me develop my thesis and overall theme of my paper. The article did a great job exploring what the purpose of an american education is, and while i disagree with the author, I found that way he organized his thoughts was clear and effective. The comments to the article however, are what warranted the diigo. There is a rich conversation in the comments, filled with great evidence.

This just goes to show how badly we need to reform our prisons and how judges sentence people. It also makes me think of David Eagleman's Incognito, because so many of the people who are serving life sentences just got caught up in drugs, prison should be more of a rehabilitation set up.
