Wireframes can be one extra step in the beginning of any web design project that can save a significant amount of time later on. Besides improving productivity, it also improves the final result of each single webpage, and the website as a whole.

An online community that lets artists showcase and sell their work. Prints and mails for the artist. Similar to zazzle but from what I have seen a higher quality user base. Manufactures prints, iphone skins, tshirts etc.

Cargo is a creative publishing platform where everything, from the ever-changing visual appearance of people's personal websites to the user interface, is built around the work shared by its members. Cargo's goal is to dramatically increase the accessibility and exposure of creative individuals on the Internet, while aspiring to build a networked context that will contribute to the culture as a whole.

A particular aspect I admire is that membership the Cargo Collective is either via invitation from existing members (who may invite 5 people), or acceptance of a written request to become part of the collective.
