In comments after his release the satirist vowed to continue his campaign against the country's colonial-era law on sedition, which is a law prohibiting "words either spoken or written, or by signs or visible representation" that attempts to cause "hatred or contempt, or excites or attempts to excite disaffection," toward the government.
