Foreign direct investment in Georgia is increasing dramatically. Foreign direct investments increased by 58% in the fourth quarter of 2011, compared to the same period the previous year, totaling 337 million dollars.

Climate Change will have disastrous effects on developing countries in the next few decades. In the last 30 years the lowest 25% countries have improved so much that in the next 40 years they will be on the same level as the top 25% are now.

South Africa has experienced an increase in its terms of trade resulting in higher consumer spending and more investment. South Africa is not free of recession and has yet to come out of a growth slump but the increase in the terms of trade is a positive sign.
