The Public Health and Economic Benefits of Taxing Sugar-Sweetened Beverages argues that economically, the long term consequences will be a heavy financial burden on the country that may be avoided through increase taxes on sodas and sugar products tht should discourage consumers from making that lifestyle choice in regards to what they consume.
