In this article we can unfortunately see that there is a big problem about scarce resources in China. "only 1 per cent of air is fit to breathe", "...such is the scarcity of water." " the planet simply cannot sustain a population of China's size joining the west in its reckless consumption" but China has a right to live like western countries. Unfairly, all these problems came out because of China's population in the article. I was not know these things about China.

The article discusses the measures taken to ensure developing countries get the most out of their natural resources.
