Scientific Progress, Brought to you by Nature - 1 views

I found this website, it has a compilation of 14 really cool inventions all inspired by mother nature. Take a look and see if something will intrigue you, I spend a few minutes on it and i recommend it. My favorite was the one based off of humans teeth, but you will have to read to find out what teeth can inspire!

This is a site full of fascinating innovations that have been inspired by life, the first and most interesting, in my opinion, is a breathing apparatus that draws air from the water like a fishes gills.

Biomimetics applied to Architecture. - 0 views

I found this (fairly small) website about biomimicry and how it can be applied to architecture. It has some really cool articles including one about a carbon neutral housing design based off of coral that they would like to see implemented in Haiti. Great stuff, wish the site was larger!
