Source: iTunes , Reallusion We use infographics as teaching tools because they hit so many academic sweet spots in critical thinking, graphicacy , data analysis, and interdisciplinary learning. Our students also produce their own graphics, applying visual design to exam reviews , geography studies , or personal hobbies .

This app, intended as a way for parents to create narrated bedtime stories for their children, could be a great digital storytelling tool for a broader audience. Students can create a movie that incorporates clay-mation figures and their own narration. It's Free and has potential.

How to evaluate iPad apps. 

Mirror your iPad to a macbook that is on the same wireless network. This is awesome!  The free version allows for 10 minutes, the pay version is unlimited mirroring.

This is a cool app for students looking to get rid of their paper planner. It works on an iPad, iPhone, or as a Mac App. For $2.99, students can track assignments, schedules, and projects.

When we teach iPad workshops, we like to begin with "tap and hold" as a skill. While many folks have already figured it out, the concept is new to a majority of the educators whom we work with. This is a great post describing some of the results.
