This blog post lists several apps to use for mobile grading and keeping a grade book on an iPad. It is important to note that some Student Information Systems - such as Pearson's PowerSchool - have developed apps that integrate directly with the computer-based grade books.
In attempts to integrate mobile technology, educators are left to the mercy of app developers who or may or may not fully understand how imperative it is that our children become critical and creative thinkers.

This app goes with the FREE service provided by littlebirdtales.com. Students can create stories with their own artwork and audio recordings either from an app or on the web. The completed tales can be downloaded as either a PDF or mp4 with audio.
Richard Byrne explains the purpose of participating in Project 365 - an app for documenting media throughout the course of the year. Given his post, the app now makes more sense.
This free app works with Gmail (and school Google Apps email accounts) to link attachments to cloud storage. Could be another piece to the workflow puzzle.
