Students can create Trading Cards based on people, places, events...I haven't played around with it yet. Wondering about the ability to export content / share content from the app.
I'm not quite sure how this works yet, but you can somehow use this when combined with Creative Book Builder to make something else...I need to play more for it to make sense.
This is an incredible site to use with mobile devices equipped with a QR Code scanning app. You type up to 100 characters and it generates a QR code that then plays an audio clip. You can designate 1 of 40 languages. While it does not translate, it does speak in the target language. Could be a great resource for foreign language teachers.
This free app from McGraw Hill is great for elementary school students to work on building their vocabulary. Students can either play on their own or with a partner. Bluster works on rhyming, prefixes & suffixes, synonyms, homophones, adjectives, and over 800 vocabulary words.
This is a great app for elementary aged students. They can practice telling a story by using the visual prompts. It records their narration into the app to play back later.
Touted as "the simplest way to make your own interactive eBook" this free program works on both Windows and Mac computers and is a great alternative to Apple's newly released iBooks Author.
