Turnitin now has a FREE app for checking & grading papers via iOS device.

Not only does BaiBoard allow students to collaborate on a shared whiteboard via their iPads, but they can also jointly annotate PDFs. Much like with AirSketch, BaiBoard also includes the ability to do a web share. This means that when on the same network, and with the unique URL associated with the iPad, ANY device can see a student working on their BaiBoard through a browser.

This Google Spreadsheet has been created by users who are part of the Global Education Collaborative. It has a wealth of resources.

Though intended for the iPhone, this app could work on an iPad. It allows you to quickly and easily create a story by taking pictures. If you have a 3G enabled device, it also will geotag the camera roll. Could be great for field trips.
