Siswan jungle attracts a large number of tourists every year. It is nearly 25 km away from Chandigarh. There is a luxurious nature resort on the edge of Siswan forest. The jungle trail enhances Siswan lodge's charm. A dam surrounds the jungle, Siswan forest, the dam and the luxurious lodges have made Siswan a beautiful city all together.

Siswan has not yet earned the reputation of a favorite tourist spot and certainly lacks five star hotels, monuments, wide stretched gardens, etc which usually are counted on to attract tourists. But it is a perfect nature treasure to enjoy.

The observation road over the Siswan dam from where the tranquility of the forest and grandiose of the river, both could be seen at once, makes the journey even more desirable and memorable. The treks into the forest where flocks of animals and groups of colorful birds could easily be seen is also a must in a lifetime experience.
